CourtsConnect App

An FCOSR mobile app was launched in the fall of 2021, introduced to the courts as an innovative means of timely notifications about breaking news in the realm of substance use, as well as events, best practices, and varied resources. A substantial rise in outside hosting costs later led OSCA to examine options for mobile notifications through different means.

Initial launching of a new notification tool has taken place, under the name of Courts Connect. Its purpose is similar and it, too, is accessible by mobile phone. Circuit Champions and other users of the former CourtsConnect app have been advised of how to access the new service, which will continue to provide alerts relevant to court roles regarding opioids and stimulants. 

Text notifications provide easy to absorb information in short form for busy professionals. Links are typically included for those who want more detail. 

This resource will be opened to other court personnel soon. Watch for notice by email. In addition, an option is offered for those who wish to instead (or additionally) receive periodic compilations of notifications by email.
